IM 155-6PN High Feature PROFINET interface module
The IM 155-6PN High Feature is designed mainly for PROFINET applications with a high, flexible demand for functions, as well as a large station expansion of up to 64 modules (max. 1024 IO signals). All I/O modules, including PROFIsafe, can be used. In addition, the station can be expanded with as many as 16 IP67 modules of the SIMATIC ET 200AL series using BA-Send/BU-Send.
Unlike the other interface modules, the IM 155-6PN/2 HF supports the following additional functions:
With its third port, the 3-port IM155-6PN/3 HF interface module allows the expansion of the PROFINET topology by a spur line. Typical applications are:
The local IO data coupling allows data to be exchanged between up to 4 controllers quickly, deterministically, and without elaborate configuring.
IM 155-6PN High Speed PROFINET interface module
The IM 155-6PN High Speed is designed mainly for PROFINET applications with very short response times. All I/O modules, including PROFIsafe, can be used.
Compared to the IM 155-6PN HF, the IM 155-6PN HS has the following functional differences:
IM 155-6DP High Feature PROFIBUS interface module
The IM 155-DP High Feature is designed mainly for PROFIBUS applications with average station expansion of up to 32 modules (max. 512 IO signals). All I/O modules, including PROFIsafe, can be used. In addition, the station can be expanded with as many as 16 IP67 modules of the SIMATIC ET 200AL series using BA-Send/BU-Send.
